City Bus Operation
- Unified Metropolitan Transport Authority (UMTA) has been constituted under Honourable Chief Minister's Guidance
- A Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) namely Jaipur City Transport Services Limited (JCTSL) is registered under Companies Act,1956
- JCTSL became functional from February 6, 2008
- 50-50 equity participation by JNN and JDA
- Mayor of Jaipur as Chairperson, SP(Enforcement) currently is its MD
- Main functions of JCTSL
- To operate and maintain the BRTS project
- Route and network design
- Specifying and monitoring the quality of service
- Proposing revised fare and fee
- Marketing and educating public on BRT

Way Forward
- Tender process for buses under progress
- Existing city buses are planned to be operated on pilot corridor on Sikar Road (7km) after completion
